Hi Guys,

FRC will be open for practice, testing and racing from 7:30 PM this Friday (23rd September) for our Group C classes, Nissan GT-R Super Series IROC - 6 races @ 20 laps, Rally Car - 3 five-lap stages per car, 1 car at a time (90 laps for 6 cars).

Remember that we try to start our events no later than 8:30PM sharp. Here's the usual schedule:
  • Free practice and testing up to 8:30 PM
  • 8:30 PM - Technical Inspection (excluding IROC classes).
  • Qualifying followed by racing. Drivers not ready when called to grid will be replaced by any standby drivers who are ready.
  • Post-race Technical Inspection (if required)
  • After racing - Packing up and liming/old talk (but not too late!).
You can see the 2016 class regulations here and the general racing regulations here.

Don't forget to bring along some refreshments.

It's strange nobody thought about that earlier Ram but nonetheless, it's still the beginning of the week.

So Saturday being a holiday ... Friday night does sound like a super time for racing and liming :)

If it's AOK with the FRC host ~ you have my vote for a Friday night event 8-)

Hello Gordon,

The new FRC IROC Regs:
  • Qualifying:
There will be no qualifying for grid positions. Instead, all drivers will be assigned numbers based on the roll of a dice or pulling of cards.
Just for the record - if there's a big turnout of NSS drivers. I have a new deck of cards (not being used long time now) for this purpose in blue :)

Hello Ram,

I am taking the opportunity/initiative to mention that your request was perfectly timed.

Also posted right under that (pic) Hyundia rally car ~ flying into full view with the 4 wheels seemly for a perfect landing and info updated with other FRC things by Gordon ...

A TGIF Race Night is going to be quite suitable (God given of course) for us all :)
