Guys, check out these qualifying time statistics for the classes we've raced at least twice so far in 2017 (sorted by class, driver and date):
Where a driver has qualified for more than one event, the last column ("Difference") shows whether his time has improved (a negative value) or got slower (a positive value) and by how much. This is useful information for determining which cars and classes you need to focus on. It also lets you see how far you are off the fastest car/driver combination in each class. You'll note that after changing the regs in Vintage Sports '60-'75 we've achieved the objective of slowing the cars down by just about 1 second.
Qualifying statistics for 2017
Re: Qualifying statistics for 2017
Thanks Gordon.
This is very interesting and useful information. What might also be interesting would be to see a median time for each class to guage how close one could be in relation to the average driver and not to the fastest driver, which is sometimes quite a bit faster than the rest of the field. Of course, where there has been a regulation change during the course of the season, the pre-change results would be irrelevant.
