Great racing as usual lots of fun being in your company see you all in 2wks.

Great night of racing as usual at FRC. In RGT, it was a bit of a disappointment that Gordon didn't get to race his Viper due to last minute problems. His other car though (McLaren) was a great runner. O'Brie's Porsche 911 looked to be extremely fast but the handling was not fully sorted. Ramesh lent him a very fast Porsche 911 GT1 which was a lot of fun to race against. One of the night's surprises was the pace of Luke's lovely Corvette. Luke proved that although he hasn't been doing that much car preparation lately, he hasn't lost his touch ! Ramesh's McLaren F1 was in a class of its own, doing a sub-5 second qualifying lap !!
SGTC racing was as close and exciting as ever, made even more so by the new IROC procedures whereby no practicing is allowed.
Congrats to Ramesh and Gordon on their class wins and to Ramesh on taking the overall victory.
Looking forward to the next event.

GR8 overall reporting from Steve and yes ~ an excellent (well balanced) night of non-IROC & IROC slot-car racing ..!

In RGT non-IROC class ... lots of keen and exciting competition from all ... Even though Ramesh's Mclaren F1 GTR car was lapping at flashing speeds because of recent track power upgrades. I still had some thrilling racing (lap after lap) against Gordon's Mclaren MP4 in my (once more tuned) Corvette C6R car and special thanks to him (Gordon) for the competitive tuning tips

In SGTC IROC class ... again lots of sharp competing fun for all with traditional (SSD) slot-car racing. It's know thought the results are showing the level of racing action enjoyed by all ... Not forgetting the LOL jokes mentioned and the funny unbelievable incidents amongst ourselves

Anyone present can tell it was ideal conditions for slot-car builders/racers and specialist/non-specialist alike ...
