Another small driver group - this time of five - turned out to compete in our Nissan GT-R Super Series IROC (NSS) and Restricted GT (RGT) races. I managed to get pole in NSS, setting a new class record of 7.613 sec while Luke B took pole in RGT.
We ran the RGT races first and it was a Bhola/Porsche 911 GT1 show, with Luke B winning all but one of the five races and dad Ramesh taking one win and three seconds. Steve put up a good show by taking two second and three third places. Both Luke's and my cars were less than competitive but we did have some close racing with each other.
The NSS races were more competitively fought with three different drivers taking wins, four taking second and four third in the six races. In pre-race practice these cars were constantly de-slotting and we thought the races would be chaotic, but the drivers rose to the occasion and there were relatively few offs in the six races. However, after the races we agreed that the tyres should be trued to improve roadholding, so we expect qualifying times to come down after this is done in the future.
The results

Congratulations to the winners.
