Re: Slot car quotes worth listing
This from Mr. Flippant on Slotforum, in reference to Scalextric braids: "Too bad Scaley braids are made of ill-tempered bat hair. I hate them. I've got a boat-load, but rarely replace worn (or terribly frayed or knotted, usually) scaley with more scaley." I crack up at the visual image of harvesting...

Re: Race report #196 - Sat July 11th 2015 (LMPE/GT-E 1hr)
Hi all! Looks like it was a stellar event despite the slightly depleted field. It was fun noting that Luke T./Alex's fastest lap was a full second quicker than the next fastest (only one in the 4's in Race and Quali), and was set in the last 19:42 of the race where they took 3 laps out of the leader...

Hi Steve, The Boss hasn't shared our end of year travel plans with me yet, but with or without her I'll be down next year! :D I hope to make some progress on the elevations and landscaping on my track over the next few months. One more comment on these Quattrox cars: I have 3 of them now, and they s...

Hi fellas,
Just wanted to share that last month Ipurchased 2 used quattrox digital modules, a new JGTC car, and a new digital module from eBay seller bilko_ret. The new module was $31USD plus shipping, and he indicated the that he still had a few left as of this time last month.
Best,
Ray

Hi GG!
Any chance of recording the race for those of us there only in spirit? (Or even better, a live video feed!)
Best,

Re: Special Christmas holiday event date poll
Gordon, How about a mixed class endurance style race, with 2 or 3 of the different classes running at the same time. Lambos and Porsches for instance, 3 on 3. The speed differential should make for some interesting driving. And to mix it up, you could tally each driver/team's laps after say, 10 min,...

Oh gawd man Arden!!!!!! I guess look for dat one........ Gordon and all, some chipping facts: #45 and the pink Flower Power Mini were chipped the same way- The F1 chip sits on top of the motor, some material had to be removed from the dash and the seats,...

As part of FRC's foreign base, I keep up with the forum and view the racing reports and all new developments and suggestions with great interest (I've even considered sending a bag of ice down for race nights!!! ;) ) When HS was announced as a class for last week's session I looked at the eligible c...
